[FIXED] Gom / KM Player script error: "An error has occured in the script on this page"

Annoyed seeing "An error has occured in the script on this page" on Gom.

Quick Fix

Solution is to block Gom in Windows Firewall.

Step 1 : Open Firewall

Step 2 : Create a new outbound rule to Block Gom.

Step3:
  • Select Program.
  • Set "This program path" to  "C:\Program Files (x86)\GRETECH\GomPlayer\GOM.EXE"
  • Select Block the connection
  • In "When does this rule apply"  Tick all the three i.e. Domain, Public, Private.
  • Put name as "Gom script error solution"
  • Click Finish
Now there is no more script error in Gom Mediaplayer.

Note:
This trick is applicable for KM Player also.
Just select KM Player.exe to block in the Firewall.
