Many a times your PC will get Slow because of viruses and other malwares that are usually Packed with most of the Freeware or some Pirated Programs you might be using !

Note:- Book Marks a Bad mark
I know that most of us Feel annoyed when the Browser Does not start easily !
The major reason for this is that we have a lot of Bookmarks (Includes useful and unwanted). But many of them are unwanted as they may be some links to Useful websites etc. Don’t use bookmarks for that Purpose.
One thing u can do it to backup such unwanted bookmarks and Remove it from the browser. It will surely increase your browsers speed.
I Prefer to use Ubuntu for my old Laptop because Ubuntu was made to run on such PC’s with lower requirements.

A computer needs antivirus and firewall to Protect the PC from several Treats .
I prefer using light weigh antivirus like Avast , Avg (All free editions )
And Firewalls like Zone Alarm , KOMODO etc.
